Label Launchpad
Build your skincare brand the right way
– the first time
A step-by-step program for Australian skincare and beauty founders who want to launch a brand people trust from day one.
“We 100% wouldn’t have launched without Label Launchpad.” – Kristy Z.
You’ve got the idea. You might already be talking to manufacturers.
But the further along you get, the more you realise just how many moving parts there are.
LET’S FACE IT, STARTING A SKINCARE BRAND IS NO SMALL TASK.
Having a great product idea is just the beginning.

There's a maze of Australian regulations to navigate
And the answers you find on Google, in Facebook groups or from ChatGPT are often contradictory, outdated or flat-out wrong. You hardly have the time to research them – and even when you do, you don’t know what to trust.

You don't know what you don't know
That’s the hardest part. You’re not sure if you’re missing something critical – something that could cost you time, money or your reputation down the track.

There's so much more to it than the product
Insurance, business setup, branding, packaging, website, marketing, finding the right manufacturers and suppliers. The list keeps growing – and you’re not sure what order to tackle it in.

You're stuck in research mode – not making progress
Scrolling late at night, second-guessing every decision, watching others launch while you’re still trying to piece it all together. You know you need to move forward – but you’re not sure what to do next.
And here’s what makes it even harder – customers are paying closer attention than ever.
They’re reading ingredient lists, questioning claims and calling out brands on TikTok and Reddit when something doesn’t add up.
A single misstep on your label or website doesn’t just risk a fine or warning notice – it can damage your brand’s credibility before you’ve even found your feet.
The brands that last? They’re the ones that get it right from the start.
You think the more you research, the clearer it’ll become.
But the more questions you ask Google or ChatGPT, the more confused you get – and the more questions you have. And you start wondering if you’ll ever get to launch.
The truth?
You don’t need more information (because you’re already overwhelmed as it is).
You need the right information – in the right order – with someone who’s done it before.
INTRODUCING
Label Launchpad
A 12-week program to take you from idea to launch-ready – in the right order, with expert guidance at every step.
Label Launchpad walks you through every stage of building your skincare or beauty brand – from research and validation, through to product development, labelling, compliance, marketing and launch. No more piecing it together from a dozen different sources.
You’ll know exactly what to do, when to do it and why it matters – so you can launch knowing you’ve set your business up for success from the start.
Joanna launched her colour-changing nail products for tweens in early 2026
“When I joined Label Launchpad in September 2024, I was already quite far along – I had my branding underway and was working on sourcing product, but I still had so many gaps and questions behind the scenes. In hindsight, I wish I’d done it earlier.
It really does cover every aspect of building a beauty brand. What I loved is that it’s all broken down into bite-sized pieces, so it never feels overwhelming.
It opened the door to some amazing, trusted contacts across manufacturing, legal, website building and marketing, which is huge when you’re starting out.
I’ve now launched, and I can honestly say Label Launchpad played a big part in helping me get there. I also made some amazing friends along the way, which was such an unexpected bonus.”
Joanna M, BYBU
The only 12- week program built specifically for Australian skincare and beauty founders – covering the product, the business and the regulations.
By the time you work through the program, you’ll have a clear roadmap to:
Labels and claims that meet Australian regulations – so you’re not guessing what’s required or risking costly reprints
A product that’s been developed to sell – not just look good on a shelf
Packaging that’s compliant and market-ready – choosing the right materials, suppliers and design
Pricing that actually works – structured for retail, wholesale and profit
Confidence working with manufacturers and suppliers – knowing the right questions to ask and what to look out for
A website that’s set up to sell – with the right platform, copy and legal requirements covered
A marketing and launch plan – so you’re not launching to crickets.
A business operating system – so you can stay organised as you grow
If you’re ready to spend less time researching and more time building a compliant, credible brand – this is your best next step.

HI, I'm JeN
I help Australian skincare and beauty founders launch the right way, the first time.
Since 2018, I've helped hundreds of founders go from idea to launch, cutting through the overwhelm that comes with starting a skincare business in Australia and figuring out the regulations.
My signature program, Label Launchpad, guides ambitious founders through the exact steps to build a brand that's not just compliant, but credible, retail-ready and built to last. I also work with established brands on compliance projects – including brands stocked at MECCA, Sephora and Priceline.
What makes my approach different is the combination of Australian regulatory expertise and business strategy. You won't just know what's compliant – you'll know how to build something customers actually trust.

GROWING COMMUNITY
Jacqui’s brand has been featured in major publications, ranked the #1 mascara by Marie Claire and launched a new eyeliner.
“Label Launchpad was amazing for accountability and for encouraging me to keep taking the next step. Masterclasses were amazing too – industry connections really, really help.
The other thing that I loved was continuous access to Jen and her knowledge and experience through the group.
Thank you so much for all of the work that you put into this. I wasn’t sure if it was the right timing for me but I ended up progressing a lot and am really grateful for the information and connections that you gave me.”

Melinda launched in early 2026 with confidence her labelling was compliant.
“Before joining Label Launchpad in late 2023, I was overwhelmed with information but wanted to comply and make sure I was doing everything legally. This program helped cut through the overwhelm and gave me clear structure, examples and practical references I could implement so I could launch without the worry.
Now that I’ve launched, I have confidence my labelling is compliant – and that it won’t come back to bite me or my business down the track.
If you want to cut the risk of trying to figure it out by yourself and not getting it quite right, I’d highly recommend this program. Jen has years of experience and is highly regarded in the industry, so you’re in good hands.”

Olympics gold medallist Grace launched her TGA-listed sports sunscreen with the help of Label Launchpad.
“I was deep into my pre-launch journey before I joined the Label Launchpad. I’d done so much on my own and I really felt I needed clarity and confidence that I wasn’t overlooking any important parts of the business.
The course was so comprehensive and I really wish that I’d started it earlier, as it would have saved me a lot of time and guesswork. Jen has such great knowledge of the skincare industry and gives invaluable insights that you really can’t find by searching the internet.
I launched my sunscreen brand a few months ago and am so glad I had the toolkit and knowledge to do it in the most professional way.”
Grace Brown, Sun Motion
BONUS: Compliant Label & Claims Toolkit
You’ll also get 6 resources built from the same frameworks I use in my compliance consulting with brands stocked at MECCA, Sephora and Priceline – where this kind of guidance costs thousands.

Everything you need to know about what’s required on your product labels and packaging in Australia. Covers all your FAQs, so you’re not left wondering if you’ve missed something important.
Label Wireframe Template
Map out your label copy in this spreadsheet before handing it to your designer – so nothing gets overlooked and you avoid endless revisions.
Cosmetic vs Therapeutic Claims Handbook
An easy-to-follow reference that helps you stay on the right side of the cosmetic–therapeutic line, understand the grey areas and avoid accidental therapeutic claims (plus a Cosmetic Claims Dictionary with 200+ claims across 30+ categories that I refer to all the time when doing client work).

Your complete reference for writing claims that are clear, compliant and credible – so you don’t unintentionally mislead customers. Covers safer alternatives for risky claims, dos and don’ts, greenwashing and sustainability claims, and how to apply Clear Beauty™ principles to your messaging.

Label & Claims Compliance Checklist
A structured checklist to run through before going to print or publishing – so you can feel confident you’ve covered the essentials (based on the template I used with my label review clients).
Before you join – make sure it’s the right fit.
It’s a perfect match if you’re:

Sick of research rabbitholes and ready to follow a clear roadmap – You’ve Googled, asked in Facebook groups, tried ChatGPT, but still have no clear direction.

Making steady progress but feeling stuck – You might be talking to manufacturers or started formulating – but you’re not sure if you’re on the right track.

Looking for expert guidance you can trust – You’re ready for someone who actually knows the Australian regulations and can give you straight answers.

Serious about compliance – You don’t want to cut corners. You’d rather get it right from the start than fix costly mistakes later.

Ready to invest in doing it properly – You understand that launching a skincare brand takes time, money and effort – and you’d rather not figure it out alone.

Working with a manufacturer (or about to) – You want to make sure your product, labels and claims are good to go before signing off on printing and production.
It’s probably not the right fit if you’re:
Still figuring out if you want to start a brand – Label Launchpad is for founders who are ready to move forward with and idea (or have already made progress).
Set on creating a “chemical-free” or “low-tox” brand – If so, we’re probably not going to see eye to eye (these terms are fearmongering, not evidence-based).
Looking for a quick fix – Building a compliant, credible brand takes real time and effort. Having a clear path to follow can save you time, but there are no shortcuts.
Since Launchpad, Zac and Beau have built Frase Skin into one of Australia’s fastest-growing men’s skincare brands.
“We reached out to Jen and went through her course on how to start a skincare business to really iron out the finer details and make sure we had everything right when it came to product labelling, and what we could and couldn’t say.
To be 100% sure, we even booked a call with Jen to go over our packaging and make sure it was it was ready to roll.
It gave us peace of mind to go to an expert in the field, and we would 100% recommend it to anyone.”
Zac London, Frase Skin

I STILL HAVE A FEW QUESTIONS
FAQs
I’ve only just started thinking about creating a skincare business – is it too early to join?
If you’ve got an idea and you’re ready to start making progress, Label Launchpad will give you a clear roadmap to follow. It’s designed for founders who are past the “should I do this?” stage and ready for “how do I do this right?” If you’re not quite there yet, my mini-course Beauty Brand Bootcamp is a great starting point.
Is the course suitable if I’ve already launched or nearly ready to launch?
This course is perfect for you if you’re in the early stages of building your skincare business. If you’re nearly ready to launch, the course can still be valuable for refining your approach or ensuring everything is on track.
Feel free to contact me to see if it’s a good fit!
I want to make [insert type of cosmetic] product – is this course still relevant?
100%! The framework and regulations covered in the course apply to all types of cosmetics, including haircare, makeup and more.
Is this course suitable for me if I want to use a contract manufacturer or white-label products?
Yes, it is! The course framework is applicable regardless of your manufacturing strategy, whether you want to DIY or outsource. Module 3 covers various strategies to help you decide which is right for you.
Is this course suitable if I'm doing a formulation course, or do I need to do one first?
This course is ideal whether you’re currently doing a formulation course, or thinking about it. Formulation courses teach you how to create products, while Label Launchpad focuses on the business side – branding, marketing, pricing and more.
You don’t need a formulation course to take Label Launchpad, but combining them gives you a strong foundation to build a compliant and credible skincare business. Many students take both at the same time, with Label Launchpad bridging the gap between formulation and business knowledge.
I’m based overseas – will this course help me?
The course primarily focuses on the Australian market, including its laws and regulations. However, if you’re interested in selling in Australia or want to enhance your overall skincare business knowledge, it could be beneficial – I’ve had several people from New Zealand complete the course. Contact me to discuss if it’s the right fit for your situation.
What’s included in the program?
You’ll get access to 9 modules with pre-recorded video lessons, 40+ tools and templates, 120+ AI prompts, the Notion Business Hub, the Supplier & Resource Directory (including the Chemist & Manufacturer Database), 5 pre-recorded masterclasses and the Compliant Labels & Claims Toolkit – 6 resources built from the same frameworks I use in my compliance consulting.
Does the program include any 1:1 or live support?
Every enrolment includes access to the next live round. You’ll get weekly live Q&A calls, guest expert masterclasses and a private community of founders going through it alongside you. Live rounds run twice a year. If you pay in full, you’ll also receive a bonus 30-minute 1:1 session with Jen.
Does it cover everything I need to know about compliance before I launch?
Label Launchpad covers the key compliance areas you need to understand as a founder – including Australian cosmetics regulations, AICIS, the Poisons Standard, labelling requirements, cosmetic vs therapeutic claims and how to avoid false or misleading marketing.
Compliance is built into the relevant modules throughout the program – not just one section at the end. You’ll also learn how to search the AICIS Inventory and Poisons Standard, and there are regulatory reminders through the lessons so you don’t miss anything important.
Plus, you’ll get the bonus Compliant Labels & Claims Toolkit – 6 resources built from the same frameworks I use in my compliance consulting. And in the final module, there’s a Pre-Launch Compliance Check to help you make sure the key compliance areas are covered before you go live.
That said, some areas – like complex AICIS categorisation or poisons labelling – require specialist advice, and the program will help you understand when that’s needed.
Is the content up-to-date?
Yes! The content is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect current regulations, best practices and industry changes. You’ll have 2 years of access, including any updates.
Can’t I just find all the information online?
There’s no shortage of free information available online, but when it comes to Australian cosmetics regulations, a lot of what you’ll find is outdated, oversimplified or flat-out wrong – including from AI tools like ChatGPT. Label Launchpad pulls together everything you need in one place, in the right order, with expert guidance you can actually trust.
How do I know if it'll be worth the investment?
It’s a significant investment – I get that. But consider the cost of getting it wrong: reprinting labels, reworking claims, or launching a product that doesn’t sell. I’ve poured 10+ years of industry experience into this program, and everything is specifically tailored to the Australian skincare industry – from the compliance frameworks to the tools and templates you can implement straight away.
Label Launchpad is designed to help you avoid those expensive mistakes and give you a clear path forward – so you’re not spending months (and money) piecing it together on your own. There’s a payment plan available if that works better for you (as well as Buy Now Pay Later options such as Afterpay, Klarna and Zip).
I’m very time-poor - how long will the course take to complete?
I totally get it! This course is designed to be flexible so you can go at your own pace. Each module is broken into bite-sized lessons, easily fitting into your schedule.
Most weeks, the lessons are 30-60 minutes total (even faster if you watch at 1.5x speed). You’ll make the most progress by setting aside an extra 1-2 hours each week to put what you’ve learned into action.
During live rounds, the weekly Q&A sessions and masterclasses are about an hour.
The best part? You’ll save heaps of time by cutting out all the hours of research guesswork and going straight to the essentials!
Will I still need to pay for other experts after buying this course?
This course provides a comprehensive foundation to help you start and grow your brand, but you may still need to consult specialists like accountants or choose to outsource tasks like graphic design or website development.
The course equips you with the knowledge to make smart decisions about when and if you need extra help – and how to choose the right experts, with guidance from the ever-growing Supplier & Resource Directory.
Can I just purchase one or two of the modules separately?
No – each module is designed to build on the others to give you a complete picture of building a successful skincare brand. Splitting them up might mean missing out on something that matters – because you don’t know what you don’t know.
Will I be ready to launch after the 12 weeks?
The honest answer – no! Launching a skincare brand depends on your personal circumstances, like time, funds and current progress. Factors such as your manufacturing strategy and suppliers also play a role (launching with a private or white label product generally means you can launch faster).
Having said that, after the course you’ll leave with a clear path forward and the confidence to move towards a successful launch.
When and how long will I have access to the course content?
You’ll get instant access to Module 1, with new modules released each week (except during implementation weeks). There’s no way to skip ahead – so the earlier you join, the sooner you’ll unlock the full program.
You’ll have 2 years of access to all course materials, including any updates. The downloadable slides, workbooks and templates are yours to keep forever (so long as you download them before your access expires!).
I don’t offer “lifetime access” because I want you to jump in and take action, not let the course gather digital dust. And just so you know, “lifetime access” usually means the lifetime of the course – not your lifetime. Nothing online is truly forever!
Does this give me a qualification?
No, there isn’t any formal certification, however at the end of the course you’ll be able to download a certificate of completion to keep for your records.
What if I'm not sure I'm ready?
Most of my students feel exactly the same way before they join. The truth is, if you’ve got a solid idea and you’re tired of going in circles, that’s usually a sign you’re ready for structure and guidance – not that you need to wait longer.
I’m still not sure if the course is right for me / I've got another question...
No problems! Please contact me and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about whether the course is right for you. I’ll always be honest about whether I think it’s the right fit – it’s better for both of us that way.
